What Reel Check is
An AI checks the claims in Instagram reels against sources it finds, and we publish each check as a page with those sources. AI can be wrong. A check is not legal, medical or financial advice. Read the sources, and use your own judgement.
Beta
Reel Check is in beta. Checks can be wrong, and features may change. We correct mistakes in the open: a check that changes says so and keeps its earlier version. If we ever close Reel Check, we refund the checks you bought and have not used.
What we don't check
Some things an AI reading sources cannot judge honestly — naming a raga or a song by ear, naming a person from their face, saying whether a video is a deepfake, predicting the future, and more. The full list is on How we check. If you send one, the bot says so and the check is free.
Using it
- One check is one new reel, or one follow-up question about a reel. A reel over 3 minutes uses 2 checks, and the bot asks before using them. A reel someone has already checked is free.
- Your first 2 checks are free. After that you buy checks in packs.
- Do not send anything illegal, or try to break or overload the service. We can stop serving anyone who does.
Check pages
We publish checks of public reels. A verdict is about the claims in a reel, not about the person who posted it. Anyone can challenge a check through the box on its page; we read every challenge, and a check that changes keeps its earlier version.
Packs and payments
- Starter: ₹199 for 15 checks.
- Popular: ₹499 for 45 checks (5 of them free).
- Pro: ₹999 for 100 checks (15 of them free).
- Checks are added to your chat within minutes of paying, and never run out.
- Payments go through Razorpay. Refunds are covered on the Refunds page.
- We may change prices; a change never affects checks you have already bought.
The truth-seekers list
Names on the list are chosen by the people themselves and approved by us. We can decline or remove a name, and you can remove yours at any time.
Limits
We do our best, but we provide Reel Check as it is. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of a check. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last three months.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.

If these terms change, we update this page and its date.
